About the villa

Heritage 202 is a single-storey villa project in the pine hills of Serrallonga, on the rural edge of Benissa — and its defining number is the land: a private plot of 11,672 m², a scale of ownership that has become almost impossible to find in new construction on the northern Costa Blanca. The architecture takes its cues from the town's oldest houses: whitewashed walls, a terracotta roof, exposed timber beams and dry-stone terracing, wrapped around a fully contemporary 255 m² interior.

The heart of the home is an open living, dining and kitchen space under a vaulted, beam-lined ceiling, its glazed walls sliding open to covered terraces and the pool deck. Serrallonga is a quiet countryside pocket a few minutes above Benissa's historic centre — one of the oldest towns on the coast, with an arcaded old quarter, a weekly market and every everyday service close at hand. The setting is genuinely rural: pine forest, terraced hillsides and mountain views, yet shops and the town are a short drive away.

Benissa keeps its own four kilometres of coastline, and the coves of Cala Advocat and Cala Fustera are about ten minutes by car — the sea lies some 5.4 km from the plot. Moraira and Calpe are both within a quarter of an hour, and Alicante airport is about an hour away by the AP-7.
