About Nine in Paradise

Nine in Paradise is a group of nine detached villas in El Paraíso, the residential area between Estepona and Marbella, and the work on them is finished: what you see in the photos is the real thing, not a render. Six villas are still for sale — one with four bedrooms and five with five — with between roughly 384 and 454 m² built. No two are laid out quite the same, but all follow the same idea: clean white volumes, large sliding windows and living rooms that open straight onto a terrace, a lawn and a private pool, screened by tall hedges and mature trees. Each house is spread over three levels. The lowest is a large open room left for the owner to decide on — a gym, a cinema, a wellness area, an office or a guest suite. Location — El Paraíso, Estepona

El Paraíso is one of the long-established urbanisations of this stretch of coast: wide avenues, villas hidden behind hedges and gardens that have had decades to grow, with golf and tennis clubs scattered through the area. The villas stand on Avenida Benahavís, with the hills of Benahavís rising behind and the sea about 1.4 km in front; Playa del Saladillo is the nearest beach. San Pedro de Alcántara and Puerto Banús are a short drive east along the New Golden Mile, and Estepona town lies a little further west.
