About Óleo

Óleo is a development of 42 homes on Avenida de Carvajal, about 150 metres from the sea. In the renders the building is a stack of rounded, almost oval floor plates set on a base of dry-stone walling: the terraces follow the curves all the way round, and white soffits curl over them like the rim of a shell. At its heart is an open-air courtyard, with greenery trailing down from the upper walkways. Nine homes are currently available, all on the middle floors: six two-bedroom apartments of 111–133 m² and three three-bedroom apartments of 137–170 m². Each has two bathrooms, one of them en suite to the main bedroom. Completion is planned for April 2028.

The visualisations show interiors in sand and oak tones, with curved plaster walls and concealed lighting, a kitchen built around a fluted island with a breakfast bar, and in one bathroom a freestanding tub under a backlit mirror. The terraces have glass balustrades and look along the coast towards Fuengirola. Hot water is supplied by solar panels.

Location — Carvajal

Carvajal is where Fuengirola ends and Benalmádena begins: the coastal road curves between the hillside and the shore, lined with apartment buildings that look straight out to sea. From Óleo the water is about 150 metres away, and the sand of Playa de Torreblanca starts roughly 600 metres along the coast. The Carvajal and Torreblanca stops of the Cercanías line to Málaga are each about 700 metres from the building, and the shops, schools and seafront restaurants of Torreblanca are close by.
