About Rayos del Sol

Rayos del Sol is a gated complex of 36 apartments on the hillside of El Chaparral, in Mijas Costa, set in two buildings that step down the slope with a pool garden between them. The scheme is planned so that the homes look out to sea from every level, ground floor included. Six apartments are currently available. Four have three bedrooms and sit on the middle floors and the ground floor, at roughly 95–97 m² built. The other two are on the top floor: one with three bedrooms of about 91 m² and one with two bedrooms of about 76 m². Every home has two bathrooms, one of them en suite to the main bedroom. The handover date is available on request.

In the renders the façades are lined with deep horizontal terraces with glass balustrades and greenery spilling over the edges. Inside, the living rooms have a wood-panelled wall behind the television, the kitchens are fully fitted and open onto the dining area, and the bathrooms are finished in marble-effect porcelain with walk-in showers behind glass. The homes face east and south, and the buildings have lifts and are adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Location — El Chaparral, Mijas Costa

El Chaparral is a residential hillside on the coast of Mijas, between Fuengirola, about four kilometres away, and La Cala de Mijas, about two and a half. The building stands roughly 650 metres from the sea, with pine woods on the slopes around it and the fairways of El Chaparral Golf Club about a kilometre away. Down on the shore, the old Calaburras watchtower and the lighthouse beside it mark the headland roughly a kilometre and a half from the complex. Shops and schools are close by.
