About Residencial Áurea

Residencial Áurea is a development of 57 homes on Calle Benalmádena in Las Lagunas, the residential district of Mijas Costa directly inland from Fuengirola. In the renders the building is white, with deep balconies lined with planters and timber-look panels running up between the bays, and it overlooks a lawned garden with a pool. Twelve homes are currently available: a one-bedroom apartment of around 41 m², two-bedroom apartments of 58–66 m², three-bedroom apartments of about 82 m² and a single three-bedroom penthouse. All except the one-bedroom have two bathrooms. Completion is scheduled for December 2028.

The specification is the same throughout: hot-and-cold air conditioning, an aerothermal heat-pump system, double glazing and a fully fitted kitchen. The visualisations show compact open-plan living rooms with the kitchen run along one wall, a dining table by the balcony door, a second bedroom set up as a study with a desk under the window, and bathrooms with a frameless glass shower and a backlit mirror. The penthouse has a roof terrace with its own raised plunge pool behind a planted parapet.

Location — Las Lagunas

Las Lagunas is a largely residential part of Mijas Costa, with apartment blocks, local shops and schools filling the streets between Fuengirola and the first hills; the Vega de Mijas secondary school is about 300 m from the site. The sea at Playa del Castillo is roughly 1.4 km away, and Fuengirola station — the terminus of the Cercanías line to Málaga and the airport — about 1.5 km.
