Sotomar by the Sea — Villas with Private Pools near the Beach, Cortijo Blanco, Marbella

Sotomar by the Sea is a small collection of detached villas in Cortijo Blanco, a residential area on the beach side of San Pedro de Alcántara in western Marbella. Three villas are currently offered, each on its own plot with a private garden and pool, about 185 m from the sea. The plots are generous, leaving room for a large garden around each house.

The villas

The villas have four or five bedrooms and as many bathrooms, with built areas of about 490 to 530 m². Living spaces have double-height ceilings and open onto covered terraces, the landscaped garden and the pool, with an east and south-east orientation. A private lift serves every level, and there is a solarium on the roof. The fully fitted kitchen is open to the living area. The specification includes underfloor heating, hot-and-cold air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and home automation, and each villa has a private underground garage. The renders also show a lower level with a lounge, a bar with a wine display, a games room and a study.

Outdoor spaces

Outside, life centres on the private pool. The renders show a sunken lounge with a fire pit beside the water and a covered terrace for dining in the shade, set within a private, landscaped garden. Access is controlled by an entry phone.

Cortijo Blanco lies between San Pedro de Alcántara and the coast, in the western part of Marbella. The sea is about 185 m from the villas and the nearest beach about 250 m. Shops, schools and golf courses are close by.
