Aloha Forest — 2-Bedroom Apartments and Penthouse Beside Aloha Golf, Nueva Andalucía

Aloha Forest is a small new-build scheme on the wooded edge of the Aloha golf course, in the upper half of Nueva Andalucía. The homes are two-bedroom apartments of 116 to 132 m², with a single penthouse at the top of the range, and the setting is what the name points at — mature pines and planted courtyards rather than open frontage, with the peak of La Concha closing the view inland.

The homes

Each apartment is built around one large living space with a fully fitted kitchen integrated into it, glazed along its full length to a covered terrace. Bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and the main bedroom an en-suite bathroom; the penthouse adds a third bathroom. Air conditioning runs for both heating and cooling, and each home has a safe installed.

Outdoor living. Terraces are deep enough to work as outdoor rooms and are sheltered on at least one side, which is what makes them usable in the spring and autumn winds that come down the valley. Homes at garden level take a private garden, and some of the larger homes carry a private pool of their own rather than sharing.

On-site amenities

The communal offering is deliberately compact, in keeping with the size of the scheme: a heated indoor pool that runs through the winter, and a gym alongside it. The grounds are planted as courtyards and pine terraces rather than a single lawn, and the outdoor pool sits among them.

Location — beside Aloha Golf, Nueva Andalucía

Aloha is one of the four courses that gave this valley its nickname, and Aloha Forest sits directly on its wooded margin — close enough that the fairway trees are the view from the terraces. This is the quieter, higher shelf of Nueva Andalucía, above the busier streets nearer the coast road, and the pine cover keeps it several degrees cooler in August than the seafront.

The nearest sand is a little over two kilometres down the hill, with the Puerto Banús marina a similar distance. The valley's own commercial centres, international schools and clinics are minutes away, and a bus route runs close to the entrance. Málaga Airport is about 45 minutes east on the AP-7.
