About Arrecife

Arrecife is a gated development on the hillside of Bahía de Casares, on the short stretch of coast that belongs to Casares, and its blocks are laid out so that the terraces face the Mediterranean, roughly 380 metres away. The scheme is built in nine blocks handed over in two stages: blocks 1 to 5 between December 2026 and March 2027, blocks 6 to 9 between December 2027 and March 2028. Which block a particular home is in is confirmed on request. Nine homes are currently on offer: two-bedroom apartments on the ground floor, with a garden and a rear terrace, and on the middle floors; three-bedroom apartments on a middle and the top floor; and one large four-bedroom apartment of about 232 m². Every home comes with a parking space and a storage room. Inside, the kitchen opens to the living room, and the renders show wide covered terraces that work as an outdoor dining room.

Location — Bahía de Casares

The municipality of Casares only touches the sea along a few kilometres between Estepona and Manilva, and Bahía de Casares sits on that strip, on slopes that look south across the water. The old white village of Casares that gives the area its name is a different world: a cluster of houses on a crag up in the hills, about a twenty-minute drive inland. Down here life follows the coast — Estepona town and its port lie a short drive east, Sotogrande and the Rock of Gibraltar further west. Málaga airport is roughly an hour away by car, and Gibraltar’s airport is closer still.
