Buenavista Views is a gated community of thirty-two boutique villas on the Buenavista hillside of Mijas, of which twenty-two are currently available. The site faces south and south-west, so the main terraces take the full sweep from the Mediterranean out front to the Mijas mountains behind — the panorama the project is named for. Access is controlled, with entry phone and round-the-clock security.

The villas carry three or four bedrooms over 98 to 192 m², each with ensuite bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen-lounge opening straight onto the terrace, underfloor heating and hot-and-cold air conditioning. Buenavista sits on the lower slopes between Mijas Pueblo and the coast, high enough for open views, close enough that everyday life stays simple: shops and services are minutes away, and the beaches of Mijas Costa — Playa de Torreblanca is the nearest at about 2.5 km — line the shore below. Fuengirola, with its promenade, port and rail link, is the closest town centre.

The whitewashed old village of Mijas Pueblo is a short drive uphill; the golf courses of the Mijas valley — La Cala among them — spread to the west. Málaga airport is roughly twenty-five minutes along the AP-7, which makes the hillside practical for year-round living rather than only for the summer.
