Kool Homes — 2-Bedroom Apartment and 3-Bedroom Penthouse in Torremolinos

Kool Homes is a small residential building of 16 homes in Torremolinos, set in a quiet residential area on the western side of town, close to the boundary with Benalmádena. The building sits above a basement level, with garden apartments on the ground floor, two floors of apartments above them and a top level of penthouses. Two homes are currently for sale: a two-bedroom apartment on a middle floor and a three-bedroom penthouse.

The homes

Both homes have two bathrooms; the apartment has 73 m² built and the penthouse 87 m². The kitchen is open to the living room, and large windows run out to the terrace, so in good weather the terrace works as part of the living space. The penthouses have a private solarium on the roof, where a private pool can be added as an option. Fitted wardrobes are included. Instead of conventional air conditioning, the homes are designed with radiant floor cooling, and heat is produced by a high-efficiency aerothermal heat pump. In the visualisations the living room looks out over the rooftops to the sea, and the top floor is shaded by a timber pergola.

Garden, pool and shared spaces

The communal areas are planned as a garden: landscaped grounds around a saltwater swimming pool, with the existing plants on the plot kept as part of the design. Residents also share a multipurpose lounge with a small kitchen and its own terrace, and there is Wi-Fi in the common areas. The basement holds 32 parking spaces for the 16 homes, and there is an entry phone at the entrance.

Location

The building stands in a quiet street of villas and low apartment blocks above the coast. The sea is about 600 m away and the nearest beach, Malapesquera, about 900 m. The El Pinillo commuter-train stop is in the area, and the seafront promenade of La Carihuela and Benalmádena’s Puerto Marina, with their restaurants and shops, lie along the coast below.
