About Oasis Altaona

Oasis Altaona is a gated community of seventy-three detached villas beside the fairways of Altaona Golf & Country Village at Baños y Mendigo, in the Campo de Murcia south of the city. Fourteen homes are currently available in the phase under construction, with completion scheduled for September 2027. Every villa stands on its own plot of at least 300 m² with a landscaped garden and a private pool, and the community is planned around walking paths and open ground rather than dense streets.

The homes come in three sizes. The two-bedroom villas of about 144 m² and the three-bedroom of about 154 m² are single-storey layouts around a kitchen-lounge that opens onto the covered terrace; the larger three-bedroom villas of 204–213 m² and the four-bedroom of 231 m² add a second floor and a third bathroom. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, the master an en-suite, and the specification includes underfloor heating, pre-installation for air conditioning, double glazing and a home-automation system as standard. Villas face south towards the course.

Altaona Golf & Country Village is an 18-hole, par-72 course by Stirling & Martin on the foothills of the Sierra de Carrascoy, fully open since 2019 and the centre of new villa building in the Murcia municipality. Corvera airport is eight kilometres away — about ten minutes by car — which makes this the shortest airport transfer of any golf resort on the Costa Cálida. Murcia city, with its baroque cathedral, university and high-speed line to Madrid, is twenty minutes north on the RM-19; the same road reaches the Mar Menor beaches at Los Alcázares and San Javier in twenty-five minutes. A villa here suits golfers who fly in for the winter season and owners who want a quiet, year-round base between a real city and the lagoon.
