Residencial Las Islas is a small scheme of detached villas in Los Urrutias, the first village on the south-western shore of the Mar Menor within the Cartagena municipality. Location — Los Urrutias

Los Urrutias is a low-rise lagoon village between El Carmolí and Punta Brava, with a promenade, a small marina and the sandy Playa Perla de Levante about 250 m from the villas. Shops, schools and public transport are within the village, and Los Alcázares is ten minutes north along the shore.

Cartagena city and its Santa Lucía hospital are twenty minutes by car, Cabo de Palos and the open Mediterranean twenty-five. Murcia airport at Corvera is about forty minutes, Alicante about an hour and ten.
