Sakura Beach is a small new-build block of six two-bedroom apartments in Torre de la Horadada, about 100 metres from Playa del Conde. Three homes are currently offered, one on each level: a ground-floor apartment with its own terrace, a middle-floor apartment, and a top-floor apartment. It is a boutique scale — six front doors, not sixty — on a quiet street a couple of minutes' walk from the sand.

The apartments

Every apartment has two bedrooms, a bright open-plan kitchen and living room, and a private terrace large enough to eat outside. Interiors are delivered with fitted wardrobes, electric blinds, double glazing and pre-installation for air conditioning; the kitchen comes partially fitted so the owner can choose appliances. The ground-floor home opens straight onto its terrace, the middle-floor home has the largest interior, and the top-floor apartment sits under the roof terrace with the shortest route up to it.

On-site amenities

The shared space is where the building punches above its size. A communal rooftop solarium runs across the top of the block with a jacuzzi and a barbecue area, looking out over the rooftops towards the sea. At ground level there is a communal pool set in a small garden, and each apartment has a private parking space.

Location — Torre de la Horadada

Torre de la Horadada is the beach village at the southern tip of the Costa Blanca, built low along a chain of sandy beaches — Playa del Conde, Las Higuericas and El Puerto — with a sixteenth-century watchtower on the point that gives the place its name. Sakura Beach sits behind Playa del Conde, and the small marina, the seafront restaurants and the everyday shops are all reachable on foot. Pilar de la Horadada, the parent town with its markets and services, lies a few kilometres inland.
