Urban City Horizon — Apartments in Torreblanca, Fuengirola

Urban City Horizon is a new gated development of 44 apartments on the hillside of Torreblanca del Sol, in the north-east of Fuengirola, about 850 metres above Playa de Torreblanca. Fourteen homes are currently offered, from one-bedroom ground-floor apartments to a four-bedroom penthouse, spread across ground floors with large terraces, intermediate floors and top-floor penthouses with private solariums.

The apartments

Every home has a kitchen-lounge opening onto a covered terrace, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom. Two underground parking spaces and a storage room are included with each apartment. Optional extras such as a jacuzzi or an outdoor kitchen can be added to the terraces. The penthouses look out over the rooftops to the sea; lower floors face the gardens and pools.

On-site amenities

The shared facilities are unusually complete for a development of this size: two outdoor pools, one of them a chill-out pool, a heated indoor pool, a spa with sauna and cold showers, a gym with changing rooms and a coworking room. Landscaped gardens and a walking path run through the gated site, and every block has a lift. Payments are staged through construction, with the largest share due on completion.

Location — Torreblanca, Fuengirola

Torreblanca del Sol and neighbouring Los Pacos form the residential hill at the Benalmádena end of Fuengirola, where the streets climb from the coast road towards the Sierra de Mijas. Playa de Torreblanca and the Torreblanca stop on the Málaga–Fuengirola Cercanías line lie down by the N-340; the town's shops and schools are a few minutes away by car, and Fuengirola's promenade and marina around three kilometres to the south-west.
