Location — central Torrevieja

The building stands in the middle of Torrevieja rather than in an urbanisation outside it, which changes what daily life looks like: shops, the market, the marina and the seafront promenade are all walkable, and the town keeps its own population through the winter instead of emptying out. The sea is 163 metres away; the nearest sand is about 470 metres.

Torrevieja sits between two salt lagoons — the pink Laguna Rosa of La Mata and the green one at Torrevieja itself — which give the town its unusual microclimate and its salt industry. Alicante–Elche airport is roughly 45 minutes by car up the AP-7.
