Location — Los Pacos, Fuengirola

Los Pacos sits at the northern end of Fuengirola, on rising ground between the town and the Mijas hills. It is a lived-in district rather than a resort one: schools, supermarkets, health centre and the weekly market all sit within the neighbourhood, and the streets stay busy out of season. Fuengirola's own centre and its long seafront promenade are a short drive down the hill.

The nearest beach, Playa Torreblanca-Carvajal, is about 1.5 km away — five minutes by car. Málaga airport is roughly half an hour along the AP-7, and the coastal rail line that runs from Fuengirola to the airport and on into Málaga is one of the few places on this coast where the train is a genuine alternative to driving.
