La Cala Resort is the largest golf complex in Spain — three championship courses, an academy, a hotel and spa — folded into the hills above La Cala de Mijas. Life inside the resort is quiet by design, yet the village below keeps every service: shops, restaurants, schools and a long sand beach at El Torreón, about ten minutes down the hill.
