Altoasis — Townhouses on the Valle Romano Golf Frontline, Estepona

Altoasis is a gated community of semi-detached townhouses in Valle Romano, the golf district on the western edge of Estepona. The homes are built and ready to move into: thirteen are currently offered from the first phase of a development that will total 87 houses along the fairways, next to the new Hospital de Alta Resolución. The district is still being built out, so the neighbourhood is new, low-rise and quiet.

The townhouses

Each house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms over two floors plus a basement, with storage and workspace that apartments in the area rarely offer. Living rooms open onto covered private terraces; several houses add a rooftop solarium looking across the golf course to the sea. Interiors follow a modern reading of Mediterranean architecture: marble floors, fitted wardrobes, double glazing with electric shutters, hot-and-cold air conditioning and a hydromassage bath in the main bathroom. Kitchens are open to the living room. Parking is underground, with a private space for each home.

On-site amenities

The shared facilities are unusually complete for a townhouse community: an outdoor pool in landscaped gardens, a heated indoor pool with spa area and sauna, and a gym with cardio and weights rooms. The complex is gated with entry-phone access.

Altoasis stands on the frontline of the Valle Romano golf course, about 1.8 km from the coast, with the hospital and the district's new shops and schools close by. Estepona's old town, marina and beaches lie a few kilometres east along the coast road; Marbella is about half an hour by car, Sotogrande similar the other way, and Málaga and Gibraltar airports are both within about an hour.
